- Source, The Japan Times

Kyodo News

The Japanese Olympic Committee awarded world champions Mao Asada and Daisuke Takahashi trophies at a ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate their achievements made in the fiscal year to March 2010.

Vancouver Olympic silver medalist Asada and bronze medalist Takahashi greeted a Japanese delegation heading to the Youth Olympic Games on Aug. 14-26 in Singapore.

"Be sure to make goals for yourselves and do your best," Asada said.

Takahashi encouraged them to be ambassadors of goodwill.

"Please try to build friendly relations with athletes from different countries around the globe, so you can have many friends in the future," he said.

I like their advices,
I think it's important to have goals to reach in our future... and more important
to have friends with whom you'll celebrate your success ;D
